Description
Pocono Township is soliciting sealed bids for renovation and expansion of the Police Wing in its municipal complex. Separate contracts are available for general construction, mechanical construction, electrical construction, and plumbing construction, including associated site work. The scope includes selective demolition, architectural and structural work, HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures and piping, electrical distribution and lighting, fire alarm work, a new diesel generator as an electrical alternate, finishes, casework, security-related construction elements, and related coordination among the prime contractors. Bidders must submit the applicable pricing and bid forms, bid security equal to 10 percent of the base bid, a non-collusion affidavit, qualification statement, proof of insurance, and bonding documentation. Successful bidders must furnish performance and payment bonds equal to 100 percent of the contract price. The project is subject to Pennsylvania prevailing-wage and public-works requirements, including applicable steel-product, employment-verification, human-relations, and contractor-payment laws.
