Description
The District seeks a consulting team to perform preliminary engineering for Wilson Park Creek watershed improvements outside the separately advancing Reach 3 project, and to develop a comprehensive plan for Wilson Park. Work includes hydrologic and hydraulic modeling; geomorphic assessment and channel design; bridge and culvert condition assessments and alternatives analysis; preliminary geotechnical, environmental, wetland, cultural-resource, and endangered-resources assessments; permitting assistance; surveying; park and public-space planning; and stakeholder and public outreach. The selected consultant will develop and evaluate alternatives, prepare preliminary design plans and cost estimates, and produce a Conditional Letter of Map Revision application and a Preliminary Engineering Report. The scope also includes a tree inventory, biological surveys, parking study, green-infrastructure planning, and a sustainability assessment. Proposals must address the requested technical and compensation materials, SBE participation, local-office information, and RISE intern utilization.
