The Louisiana Military Department is soliciting sealed bids for the Monroe FMS Generator project, which involves the installation of a generator at the Monroe Field Maintenance Shop (FMS) #3 located at 5000 Central Ave, Monroe, LA 71203. The project is being managed by the Construction and Facilities Management Office (CFMO) Energy LAANG. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit scheduled for September 3, 2026, at the same location. The bid due date is September 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. CT. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security equal to 5% of the base bid and additional bid items, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the contract amount. Contractors must be licensed in Louisiana for building construction and/or electrical classifications. Electronic bid submission is required via Central Auction House, with hard copies sent to the CFMO office. The project is subject to Louisiana public bid laws and the Louisiana Military Department's participation in small business and veteran-owned business programs.
