Description
The City of Dania Beach is soliciting bids for the City Hall Wind Mitigation (Re-bid) project. The scope includes removal of the existing 350kW diesel generator, 1200A and 600A automatic transfer switches, and associated equipment. The contractor will install a new 400kW diesel generator with a 668-gallon belly tank, new automatic transfer switches, and an annunciator (all purchased by the City). Work also includes electrical system modifications, underground conduits, grounding, structural work for a new generator room, concrete slab reinforcement, stair repairs, civil work for site restoration, and integration with the fire alarm system. A temporary 200kW generator must be provided during construction. The project is funded through FEMA's Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.
