Montgomery Township is seeking a qualified, full-time Building Inspector to join their Code/Construction team. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of new and existing municipal structures in accordance with the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code (NJ UCC). The ideal candidate will possess valid Residential Construction Official (RCS), Industrial Construction Official (ICS), and Housing Health Specialist (HHS) licenses issued by the Department of Community Affairs (DCA). Strong skills in structural design analysis and experience in drafting violation notices are also required. The position is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The starting salary is $71,120, with potential for negotiation based on advanced qualifications.
