Description
This Request for Information seeks capable industry partners, innovative approaches, and potential solutions for payload-agnostic spacecraft supporting rendezvous, proximity operations, and docking with resident space objects. The anticipated vehicle must support diverse vendor-provided payloads and Government-furnished equipment, operate across multiple orbital regimes, maintain storage and rapid launch readiness, and provide space-domain-awareness capabilities. The RFI identifies potential requirements for modular payload interfaces, responsive integration and launch timelines, propulsion, launch-interface compatibility, encryption, communications, telemetry, and docking hardware. Respondents must provide unclassified information addressing their security posture and facility infrastructure, digital engineering and model-based systems engineering capabilities, flight heritage, schedule feasibility, requirements feedback, and proposed spacecraft architecture. Responses must include a capability statement, technical answers, a spacecraft block diagram, mass and power equipment lists, a bill of materials, a rough-order-of-magnitude estimate by major cost driver, and relevant technical, schedule, and program assumptions. The Government may request additional controlled information through authorized channels. This is market research for planning purposes and is not a request for proposals or a commitment to award a contract.
