Description
The City of El Cajon is soliciting bids for CCTV inspection and condition assessment of selected sanitary sewer pipelines, gravity sewer mains, inverted siphons, manholes, and junction structures. The contractor must furnish labor, specialized self-propelled CCTV equipment, transportation, traffic control, permits, supervision, flow diversion or control when required, and emergency response planning. Personnel must be qualified and currently certified under NASSCO's Pipeline Assessment Certification Program and Manhole Assessment Certification Program. Required deliverables include color video with operator narratives, photographs, inspection logs, PDF reports, Excel databases, WinCan-compatible data, weekly progress reports, critical-defect notifications, and hard-copy inspection reports with an external drive. The estimated system quantity is approximately 1,007,302 linear feet over a maximum five-year term consisting of one base year and four one-year renewal options. The estimated bid value is $750,000. Bidders must be California Class A and C-42 licensed, registered public-works contractors, and must submit bid forms, a 10% bid security, experience references, subcontractor information, insurance certification, and applicable CARB compliance documentation.
