Description
Middlesex County seeks a turnkey vendor to continue and manage its established Ride On Demand microtransit program without interruption, including the software, vehicles, maintenance, drivers, dispatch, customer service, booking, payment, and reporting needed to operate the service. The vendor must maintain service in New Brunswick and designated areas of North Brunswick and East Brunswick, propose a phased five-mile service expansion, and develop an expansion analysis, public engagement strategy, and interlocal coordination model. The scope also includes a mobility-hub pilot serving Perth Amboy Magnet Schools and first/last-mile connections to existing transit.
