Description
The Massachusetts Office of Grants and Research is offering competitive FFY 2026 STOP Violence Against Women Act grants for programs addressing domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking. Eligible applicants include Massachusetts state agencies, local and tribal law enforcement agencies, prosecution entities, courts, nonprofits, public or private nongovernmental agencies, federally recognized tribes, faith-based organizations, and culturally specific community-based organizations with relevant experience. Applicants may request up to $150,000 for a 12-month project period beginning on or about January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027. Funded activities may include victim services, legal assistance, law-enforcement and prosecution initiatives, court programs, training, coordinated responses, outreach, and services for underserved populations. OGR expects to award approximately $3.4 million and may provide partial awards; successful applicants may be eligible for up to three additional years of continuation funding. Applications must include an online application, budget workbook, risk assessment, and applicable certifications, rate documentation, consultation materials, and other supporting attachments.
