Description
The City of San Clemente is seeking an independent Certified Public Accounting firm to perform annual financial statement audits for fiscal years ending June 30, 2027 through June 30, 2031, with a one-time optional extension for fiscal years ending June 30, 2032 and June 30, 2033. The work includes audits of all applicable City funds, activities, component units, and related entities, including the Coastal Animal Services Authority, in accordance with GAAS, GAGAS, and GAAP. The scope also includes preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, Single Audit services if required, GANN Appropriations Limit agreed-upon procedures, internal-control and compliance reporting, management recommendations, California State Controller financial reports, and related deliverables. The selected firm must account for the City's transition from Tyler Eden to Tyler ERP, provide qualified audit personnel and references, submit a detailed methodology and work plan, and provide fixed pricing by fiscal year plus hourly rates for additional services.
