Description
Morgan Independent School District is seeking quotes for Category 1 data transmission and Internet access services for Morgan School. The district will consider fully managed leased lit fiber Internet access and bundled non-fiber Internet access and transport, with bandwidth options from approximately 600 Mbps through 2 Gbps, including bids at 600 Mbps, 750 Mbps, 1 Gbps, and 2 Gbps. Installation and initial configuration are required; technical support is required for the fiber option but not the bundled non-fiber option. Proposals should identify eligible and non-eligible costs separately, comply with applicable E-Rate and Texas Education Agency purchasing requirements, include bandwidth scalability during the contract term, and include voluntary extension options unless the service is month-to-month. If special construction applies, proposers should offer installment payments of up to four years for the applicant’s non-discounted share. The solicitation requires completion of the attached “Morgan_C1 Vendor attachment” form and evaluates price, vendor reputation, service quality, fit with school needs, past relationship, long-term cost, and compliance with federal program rules.
