Translation Services with AI Accuracy Disclosure

The Alliance for Innovation is seeking translation services vendors that use AI-assisted or AI-generated translation to disclose their AI and machine-translation engines, large language models, translation approaches, third-party services, and data-retention practices. Suppliers must describe human-in-the-loop processes, reviewer qualifications, language-pair coverage, and turnaround times. The opportunity establishes mandatory protocols for high-stakes legal, medical, regulatory, emergency, financial, and public-facing content. These protocols include qualified human post-editing, independent review of legal and medical materials, confidence flagging, quality certification, notification when qualified human reviewers are unavailable, and additional time for human review. Suppliers must maintain quality-assurance documentation, comply with applicable privacy and security requirements, avoid using source documents to train AI models without written consent, label AI-assisted translations, maintain version records for at least three years, and provide a current data processing agreement with third-party AI providers. The completed and signed AI Accuracy Disclosure Form must be returned with the RFP response.
