Description
The University of Texas System and The University of Texas at Austin are soliciting statements of qualifications from one or more professional and technical services firms to support utility and energy management projects on an as-needed basis. Respondents may qualify for work involving university utility plants and distribution systems, or building-specific infrastructure renovations and upgrades, including MEP, civil, structural, instrumentation and controls, and architectural services. Potential services include feasibility studies, conceptual and detailed design, construction documents and specifications, code reviews, cost and life-cycle estimates, construction administration, site observation, commissioning, testing and balancing, utility and energy modeling, air emissions and effluent-water compliance support, BIM and rendering, urgent infrastructure repairs, consultant management, and project coordination. The resulting contract is expected to have a one-year initial term with up to four one-year renewals, with an overall maximum value of $5,000,000 and no guaranteed minimum work. Qualifications must exclude pricing and include a technical response, Execution of Offer, and required VetHUB Subcontracting Plan.
