Description
The City of Tuscaloosa is requesting mandatory statements of qualification from responsible and competent general contractors for Phase III improvements at the Hilliard N. Fletcher Water Resource Recovery Facility. The scope includes rehabilitation of the septage receiving station and existing offloading areas; installation of a packaged septage receiving station; rehabilitation of the blower building, including ventilation and miscellaneous building improvements; replacement of the existing blowers, piping, and electrical equipment; and construction of a new ultraviolet disinfection facility. Prequalification project summary information is available from the solicitor, and plans, specifications, and related contract documents are to be made available through the designated bidding platform. Successful respondents are expected to be notified after evaluation.
