Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs requires semi-annual preventive maintenance, testing, emergency callback, and repair services for 11 UPS and power-conditioning units at the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System. The equipment inventory includes Eaton and Symmetra systems ranging from 30 to 200 kVA across Buildings 38, 57, and 81. The scope includes inspections, battery measurements and load or run-down testing, thermal scans, torque checks, operational testing, cleaning, diagnostics, service reports, and emergency callback support. The amendment clarifies that battery and capacitor replacement, fan replacement, and other work outside normal preventive maintenance are handled when needed through over-and-above work authorized by the Contracting Officer. Battery replacement is expected at the three-year mark, and all annual-maintenance references are intended to mean semi-annual maintenance. The contract is a firm-fixed-price, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. The proposal deadline is extended to September 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. MDT; no further extensions or questions are anticipated.
