Description
The City of Orlando seeks a contractor to replace an existing lift station with a new submersible pump lift station and associated infrastructure. Work includes new stormwater, sanitary sewer, water, force main, and electrical systems; a masonry electrical building with generator and related equipment; and temporary bypass pumping to maintain operations during construction. The project also includes demolition of the existing station, connection to the existing force main, underground electrical service and transformer installation, system testing and commissioning, dewatering, excavation, shoring, paving, drainage, landscaping, erosion control, fencing, and other improvements needed to deliver a complete, operational facility. Bidders must hold appropriate Florida contractor licenses under Chapter 489 of the Florida Statutes. Award, if made, will be to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, considering price and other factors.
