Description
The City seeks a contractor to construct roadway and pedestrian improvements along approximately 2.6 miles of streets, including roadway reconstruction and resurfacing, drainage structures and pipe, sidewalks, curb and gutter, raised crosswalks, traffic control, street lighting, signs, and pavement markings. The work also includes extensive traffic signal and communications improvements, such as signal poles and mast arms, pedestrian signals, rapid-flashing beacons, fiber-optic cable and conduit, detection equipment, cameras, and electrical service. Landscaping includes planting, tree work, and soil-vault systems. The project uses federal-aid funding, and the prime contractor must be FDOT-prequalified in specified work classes.
