Submission Instructions
Description
The City of Amarillo is seeking a contractor to demolish and remove existing restroom facilities, foundations, concrete, paving, and associated improvements at up to 20 identified parks. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, hauling, disposal, backfilling, soil compaction, rough and fine grading, drainage improvements, topsoil, soil preparation, sod installation, watering, and turf establishment. Existing utilities will be disconnected or capped by City staff, and asbestos testing has found that no asbestos remediation is required. The City may authorize all, some, or none of the listed locations based on available funding and submitted lump-sum pricing. Bidders must submit pricing for the project as one lot, with the City retaining discretion to award individual locations or the complete project. Work must be completed by December 31, 2026, following issuance of the Notice to Proceed. A 5% proposal bond is required with the bid; payment, performance, and maintenance bonds and insurance are required after award when applicable thresholds are met.
