Description
The City of Borger is soliciting sealed bids for four new vehicles, with awards potentially made by individual item to one or more bidders: one midsize crew-cab AWD/4WD truck for Planning and Development; two unmarked full-size law-enforcement Special Service Vehicle SUVs in black; one compact two-wheel-drive pool SUV; and one full-size 1/2-ton crew-cab short-bed 4x4 pickup for the Wastewater Treatment Department. Vehicles must be current or next available model year, new and untitled except for permitted dealer transfers, and include the full original manufacturer warranty. Pricing must include destination freight, dealer preparation, documentation, title and registration-related dealer charges, and other delivery costs. Bidders may offer approved equivalents, but must document compliance with the detailed minimum specifications. The response package includes the completed vehicle compliance form for each item bid, manufacturer order/build sheets or fleet specification sheets, the exceptions and deviations form, and the bidder certification and signature form. One signed original and one copy are required; electronic and facsimile bids are not accepted unless authorized by addendum.
