Description
The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority is conducting an informal Request for Information regarding modern digital signage and wayfinding platforms for the Las Vegas Convention Center campus, including the screen at Boring Loop Central Station. The authority is seeking recommendations for a unified management platform and service model covering content management, venue-management-system integration, digital displays, touchscreen kiosks, mapping, emergency messaging, analytics, hosting, implementation, migration, training, operations, and support. Expected operations include 24/7 LED-screen availability, scheduled maintenance windows, and possible overnight deactivation of LCD screens when not needed for shows. Responses should address existing hardware and software environments, including Samsung Tizen displays, Samsung S-Box controllers, BrightSign players, Windows 11 kiosk PCs, the current SignWave Media and 22Miles platforms, and potential reuse of existing playback hardware. Vendors should also discuss implementation, migration, hardware maintenance and spare-parts strategy, service-level support, indoor-location technologies, subcontractor arrangements, and sample subscription and maintenance agreements. The 25-page limit applies to the response materials except sample subscription and maintenance agreements; any exceptions to the standard terms are limited to one page. The RFI may lead to a subsequent RFP or vendor selection, but does not establish a fixed contract award or start date.
