Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System is soliciting a contractor to provide personnel, vehicles, equipment, dumpsters, compactors, roll-off containers, collection, transportation, and off-facility disposal of refuse and bulk waste. Services cover the Biloxi campus and outpatient facilities in Mobile, Pensacola, and Panama City, with scheduled container servicing, on-call and contingency support, monthly steam cleaning of 30-yard compactors, monthly roll-off services, special-event container support, and required waste, landfill, weight, and tonnage reporting. The contractor must comply with applicable federal, state, and local environmental, OSHA, and EPA requirements and provide quality-control procedures. The contract has a 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods. The amendment states that the current contract is 36C25626P0573, but this procurement will establish a new contract. The solicitation permits the SDVOSB prime to use multiple similarly situated SDVOSB/VOSB subcontractors by geographic area, provided the prime retains contract management, quality control, reporting, and overall performance responsibility.
