Description
The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction is soliciting bids for an agency-specific term contract to furnish and deliver charcoal gray ripstop fabric on an as-needed basis. The fabric must meet detailed specifications, including a ripstop weave, 6.5-ounce-per-square-yard weight, 65% polyester and 35% cotton fiber content, 62-inch width, specified construction and strength requirements, vat and dispersed dye processing, and domestic-origin requirements. No minimum or maximum quantity is guaranteed; the stated one-year estimate is 30,000 yards. The vendor must provide a minimum two-yard head-end sample before bid opening, deliver rolls in specified packaging, provide manufacturer authorization if acting as a reseller, include the manufacturer's standard warranty, and submit a certified laboratory test report with each shipment. The contract has an initial three-year term beginning upon final contract execution, with delivery generally required within 30 days after receipt of a purchase order. Responses must be submitted through the NC eProcurement Sourcing Tool and include the required execution pages, pricing form, customer references, worker-location disclosure, financial-condition certification, sustainability efforts, and alcohol/drug-free workplace policy acknowledgment.
