Description
The Montezuma County Hospital District seeks a contractor to deliver and install an 8,000-gallon aboveground fuel-oil storage system with full-capacity secondary containment, leak detection, and tank-level monitoring. Work includes verifying the site and utilities, obtaining permits and approvals, providing an engineered foundation, connecting fuel piping to the existing steam-boiler lines, and installing necessary electrical and control connections. The contractor must coordinate work to minimize disruption to hospital operations and provide safety equipment, testing, commissioning, and staff training. The contractor will manage the project schedule and subcontractors, coordinate with hospital and district representatives, report on project status and costs, and attend board meetings when requested. Proposals must include company history, an organizational chart and resumes for the proposed project-management team, differentiating experience, five years of arbitration and litigation history, a certificate-of-insurance declaration page, a sample contract, a workmanship warranty description, and a financial bid. Proposals are limited to 15 single-sided pages. The district anticipates $150,000 in grant funding for the project.
