Description
The project involves interior and exterior selective demolition and renovation of an existing production facility and supporting structures. Work includes enclosing an open steel framework, building out offices, replacing interior finishes, installing a generator, repairing fencing and gates, and constructing a concrete slab over existing foundations. Associated electrical, fire alarm, mechanical, and plumbing upgrades are also required. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, and materials. Work is to commence within 10 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, with substantial completion within 150 consecutive calendar days of that notice. A bid bond equal to 5% of the bid is required; the successful bidder must provide payment and performance bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract amount. Bidders must hold a current Mississippi Certificate of Responsibility appropriate to the work.
