Description
The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources is soliciting sealed bids for the Ocean Springs Harbor Project. The work includes demolition and replacement of approximately 165 feet of bulkhead; repairs and improvements to finger piers, docks, and a landside boardwalk; concrete work; electrical conduit, wiring, dock power pedestals, receptacles, and lighting; plumbing replacement and hose bibs; approximately 169 linear feet of decorative aluminum fencing with gates; asphalt parking-area improvements; and dredging between and adjacent to the finger piers. Alternates include parking-area paving and dredging, subject to available funding. Bidders must provide equipment, labor, materials, permitting, and construction management, and demonstrate relevant experience and capacity. The bid package requires completed Attachments A, C, and D; responsibility information including at least three similar projects completed within the past five years; a current Mississippi Certificate of Responsibility; a Certificate of Good Standing; and, for nonresident contractors, applicable resident-state preference-law documentation or a signed statement that no such laws exist. One original and two copies are required. Performance, payment, and tax bonds are expressly not required. The contract period ends June 30, 2027, with work to begin within 14 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed.
