Description
The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources is seeking a contractor to provide all labor, equipment, barges or vessels, and transportation necessary to load concrete culverts, poles, manholes, box covers, and modules at its Gulfport staging site; transport them approximately 20–26 miles offshore; and deploy them at designated artificial reef sites south of Pascagoula. The contractor must coordinate deployment strategies with the agency, provide equipment and vessel documentation, comply with OSHA and United States Coast Guard requirements, retrieve and dispose of deployment debris, and support marine surveying and monitoring activities. The contract is a firm fixed-price, per-ton service agreement with an initial one-year term and one possible one-year renewal. Bidders must provide two professional references, register in Mississippi's MAGIC system, and submit the required bid forms and checklist. Insurance evidence is required after contract execution, and no bonds are required.
