Description
This sources-sought notice requests capability statements for a potential design-bid-build project to construct a 3,983-square-foot air traffic control tower and a 9,709-square-foot flight simulator facility. The work is expected to include drilled-pile foundations, reinforced-concrete walls and floors, structural-steel framing, an elevator, a 500-kW backup generator, a perimeter fence, utilities, site improvements, and pavements. Construction must comply with Miami-Dade hurricane codes and applicable Department of Defense antiterrorism, force-protection, and fire-protection criteria. The anticipated construction magnitude is $20 million–$50 million, with a 1,219-calendar-day performance period covering the base and option periods. The prime contractor must be capable of performing at least 15% of the work with its own employees. Respondents must submit a capability statement of no more than four pages, including company and business-status information, bonding capacity, proof of SAM registration, interest in a future solicitation, and two to five relevant projects completed within the past seven years. This is market research only; no contract will be awarded from this notice.
