Description
Morgan Independent School District is soliciting proposals for Category 1 internet access and data transmission services with capacities ranging from 500 Mbps to 2 Gbps. Vendors may propose leased lit fiber internet access and/or bundled non-fiber internet access and transport services. The solicitation requests one service quantity for each of two service requests and allows equivalent, higher-value, lower-quantity, or more cost-effective alternatives for consideration. Installation and initial configuration may be required depending on the proposed service, and technical support may be requested based on service needs. Eligible installation costs may be paid over four years. The associated vendor attachment requests pricing for one-, three-, and five-year contract terms at 600 Mbps, 750 Mbps, 1 Gbps, and 2 Gbps, along with any additional costs, voluntary extensions, special construction, and non-recurring charges. Proposals must comply with the Texas Education Agency Financial Accountability Guidelines, Module 5: Purchasing.
