Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District seeks a firm-fixed-price supply contract for one brand-new Eaton 150VCP-WG-50-3000A vacuum circuit breaker, with an option for one additional identical breaker. The breaker must be compatible with EATON VacClad-W metal-clad switchgear and the existing Center Hill Power Plant switchgear unit and cabinet configuration; incompatible, refurbished, or old-stock equipment will be rejected. The replacement part number is 3759A72H12. Required characteristics include 15 kV maximum voltage, 3,000-ampere continuous current, 50 kA short-circuit current, 125 VDC charging motor, 125 VDC spring-release coil, 125 VDC anti-pump relay, 125 VDC shunt-trip coil, and specified mechanical and load-switching endurance. Standard components must include a motor cutoff switch, latch check switch, two position switches, auxiliary switch, ground contact assembly, casters, and other standard receiving components and parts. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, packaging, and delivery. The equipment must be new and is subject to technical acceptance; defective, incomplete, incorrect, damaged, or incompatible equipment must be replaced at no additional cost. Quotes must include the completed SF 1449, acknowledged amendments if applicable, and the completed price schedule, including pricing for the option line item. The apparent successful offeror may be asked for one banking reference and three similar past-performance references before award. Delivery is required within 180 calendar days after award, with delivery scheduled on or before March 29, 2027, and the contractor must coordinate delivery one week in advance.
