Description
The City of Shreveport is offering one surplus immovable-property item for sale: approximately 12,057 square feet of land at 401 Texas Street, together with all improvements. The property includes an existing approximately 61,800-square-foot, four-story office building with finished and unfinished areas, concrete and steel construction, parking and drive areas, public utilities, and downtown commercial zoning. The property is sold in its present condition, without warranties regarding condition or latent defects. The minimum bid is $507,000, and the highest responsive and responsible bidder will be selected. Bidders must submit COS Bid Form #1 and COS Bid Form #2 Bid Bond. The bid may be submitted electronically or physically, and bidders are responsible for inquiring about issued addenda. The successful purchaser must complete the purchase within 45 days after award and will be responsible for specified closing-related costs, including survey, title examination, title insurance, and recording fees.
