Description
The County of Ocean is seeking qualifications from vendors to provide and deliver a variety of perishable food items to the Ocean County Juvenile Detention Center. This is for a one-year contract term, with the option to renew for one additional year. Purchases may include fresh meats, fresh produce, fresh dairy, cold cuts, and fresh eggs. Deliveries for dairy must be made twice a week between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Other perishable food deliveries are to be made up to twice a week between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM. There is to be no minimum delivery amount and no delivery charges. Vendors must have a minimum of two years of experience in providing perishable food. All submissions must include the vendor's name(s) and experience, a statement of the vendor's ability to perform tasks in a timely fashion, a description of the support staff available, and all required documents from the Vendor Questionnaire. The County prefers document submission via DocuSign.
