Description
The City of Danville is soliciting proposals for janitorial and custodial services at 527 Bridge Street. The contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, cleaning supplies, and materials needed to maintain the facility in a clean, sanitary, safe, and professional condition. Routine services include weekday restroom cleaning and sanitation, replenishment of consumables, trash removal, cleaning of entrances and glass, and twice-weekly cleaning of common areas, hallways, elevators, and gathering spaces. Quarterly services include high dusting, interior window cleaning, elevator-carpet extraction, floor stripping, waxing and buffing where applicable, and deep restroom cleaning. The contractor must maintain service logs, conduct monthly supervisory inspections, correct deficiencies within 48 hours unless otherwise approved, and provide staffing, quality assurance, accountability, and customer-service procedures. Proposals will be evaluated on experience, staffing, quality assurance, references, SWaM participation, and pricing. Addendum No. 1 provides pre-bid clarification, and the solicitation package includes a pre-bid attendee sheet.
