Description
The City of East Ridge is seeking a vendor to redesign its public-facing website, implement an intuitive content management system, and provide reliable hosting and ongoing maintenance. The solution must support easy staff content updates, scheduled publication and expiration, mobile access, mailing lists and notifications, document storage with PDF conversion, translation, customizable calendars with ICS functionality, searchable content, reporting, social media integration, customizable departmental templates, online forms or third-party application integrations, and ADA-accessible design. The vendor must provide or manage 24/7 hosting with monitoring, redundant hardware, multiple internet connections, disaster recovery procedures, off-site backups, and support during normal business hours with a target response time of two hours or less. Proposals must include a company introduction, project approach, CMS capabilities, a sample timeline, similar-project qualifications, at least three client references from the past five years, and itemized pricing for design, deployment, hosting, maintenance, and other costs. The City may separately award optional work for agenda management, municipal code codification and hosting, and citizen request tracking. The estimated budget for the primary project is $40,000 to $50,000, excluding optional systems and major third-party software fees.
