Description
The City of East Ridge, Tennessee, seeks a vendor to redesign its public-facing website and provide an intuitive content management system, hosting, and ongoing maintenance and support. The solution must provide responsive or mobile access, scheduled content publishing and removal, mailing-list and notification subscriptions, document storage with automatic PDF conversion, translation functionality, customizable calendars with ICS support, friendly links, site statistics, searchable content, social-media integration, and customizable subsection templates. The website must be reliable and available 24/7, support accessible design for individuals with disabilities, and accommodate potential future consolidation of other City-controlled websites. The City also requests integration with or provision of a third-party system for online City forms and applications. The vendor must provide hosting or subcontracted hosting oversight, disaster recovery and redundancy plans, backup and recovery documentation, and business-hours troubleshooting and support with a target response time of two hours or less. Proposals must include a cover letter, project approach, CMS capabilities, a sample timeline, qualifications and similar project experience with at least three client references from the past five years, and a detailed fee proposal covering design and deployment, hosting, maintenance, and other necessary costs. Optional alternate projects may include agenda management, municipal code codification and online hosting, and citizen request submission, tracking, and resolution. The City may also request finalist interviews and presentations.
