Description
The City of Surrey is soliciting proposals for a cloud-based, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) enterprise incident management solution. The goal is to create a centralized platform for standardized incident intake, management, and reporting across departments including Parks, Recreation & Culture (PRC), Surrey Libraries, and Corporate Security. The current system relies on disparate methods like paper forms, Word documents, emails, and disconnected systems. The proposed solution should offer digital incident intake, centralized record management with unique identifiers, evidence attachment capabilities, role-based access controls, audit logging, automated notifications, and enterprise reporting and dashboards. While system integrations with existing City systems like PeopleSoft, APEX, and PRCMS are not within the scope of this initial RFP, the solution must support standard integration capabilities (e.g., APIs, web services) and be compatible with Microsoft Entra ID for Single Sign-On. Future phases may involve advanced workflow automation, analytics, and expansion to additional business units.
