Description
The City of Tuscaloosa is soliciting bids for the as-needed supply and delivery of nine water treatment chemicals: fluorosilicic acid, 50% and 25% liquid sodium hydroxide, liquid sodium hypochlorite, liquid sodium permanganate, anionic polyacrylamide polymer, liquid lime, 50% citric acid, and sodium thiosulfate. Bidders may bid on one or all items. Quantities are estimates only, and purchases will be made through release orders under a blanket purchase order. Products must meet the stated AWWA, NSF/ANSI/CAN Standard 60, concentration, composition, packaging, and delivery requirements. The contractor must provide compatible transportation and unloading equipment where specified, shipment documentation such as laboratory analyses, Certificates of Analysis, and certified weight tickets, and maintain product availability for routine and expedited deliveries. The contract is for one year from purchase-order execution, with automatic annual renewals for up to two additional years, for a maximum term of three years.
