Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for on-site non-personal healthcare services at the St. Cloud VA Healthcare System. The contractor must provide one board-certified hematology-oncology physician and one registered nurse to deliver outpatient hematology-oncology care, inpatient consultation, chart review, patient education, clinical documentation, nursing assessment and care coordination, quality-improvement participation, and related administrative support. The physician must be board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in oncology, with hematology accepted as an additional certification, and maintain required licensure, BLS certification, credentialing, privileging, and VA training. The registered nurse must meet applicable nursing education, licensure, CPR/BLS and, when applicable, ACLS requirements, with at least one year of direct patient-care experience within the preceding three years. Services must be performed on site, with regular clinic coverage, on-call availability, replacement coverage, and compliance with VA privacy, security, medical-record, infection-control, and personnel requirements. This is a sources-sought notice for market research; it will not result in a contract award.
