Description
The Mississippi Department of Child Protection Services intends to procure Structured Analysis Family Evaluation (SAFE) services from Consortium for Children on a sole-source basis. SAFE is a standardized, research-informed home-study methodology for assessing prospective foster, adoptive, relative, and guardianship caregivers. The scope includes initial two-day practitioner certification training, half-day supervisor training, refresher and other specialized training, access to SAFE tools, forms, reports, resource-center materials, and an online-learning platform. The contractor will also provide certification, training records, curriculum updates, ongoing technical assistance, consultation, and implementation support. The proposed contract amount is not to exceed $150,000, with a two-year term and three successive one-year renewal options.
