Description
The Richmond County School System seeks proposals to design, deliver, and install two outdoor playgrounds—one for ages 2–5 and one for ages 5–12—including playground equipment, poured-in-place rubber safety surfacing, and the required aggregate base. The scope includes equipment and surfacing specifications, design drawings and catalog information, delivery and installation, and a certified playground safety inspection. Proposed equipment and surfacing must meet the stated safety and accessibility standards; the proposal must include applicable certifications and testing data, warranties, and proof of at least $5 million in product liability insurance. The allocated budget is $200,000, and the solicitation says not to submit price quotations. The proposal must include an equipment list and design, specifications and warranties, scale drawings, product and safety documentation, and the required completed forms. The selected vendor is expected to complete delivery and installation within 90 days of award notification and provide an on-site safety training session after installation.
