Description
The library system seeks six leased lit fiber circuits with internet access, one for each library location. Requested bandwidth is 500 Mbps at the main library and 300 Mbps at each of five branches, with pricing for additional 100 Mbps increments up to 1 Gbps. Services must include standard internet access, at least three usable public Class C IP addresses, and managed service for each connection. The provider must supply necessary equipment, connections, routers, and IP addresses, and provide service and maintenance, including troubleshooting within four hours of a reported problem on a 24/7 basis. The RFP also requests support and monitoring details, uptime information, and a proposed implementation timeline. The contract is for four years, beginning July 1, 2027, and requires full implementation by that date. Proposals must include pricing, the provider's SPIN and FCCRN, vendor and staff qualifications, at least five references, responses to the proposer questions, and a completed proposal form and pricing schedule. The library system requires discounted billing for eligible services and separate invoicing for eligible and non-eligible services.
