Description
The library system seeks six leased, lit-fiber circuits with internet access, one for each location. Requested bandwidth is 500 Mbps at the main library and 300 Mbps at each of five branches, with pricing for additional 100 Mbps increments up to 1 Gbps. The requested service includes standard internet access, at least three usable public Class C IP addresses, and managed service for each connection. The provider must supply necessary equipment, IP addresses, connections, and routers; install and fully implement service by July 1, 2027; and provide service and maintenance. Troubleshooting must be available 24/7 within four hours of a reported problem, with refunds for outages lasting more than four hours. Proposals must include pricing, vendor qualifications, at least five references, staff and company profiles, a proposed timeline, support and monitoring details, uptime information, and any exceptions to the specifications. The contract is for four years, beginning July 1, 2027, subject to E-rate funding.
