Description
The Maryland Aviation Administration is soliciting bids for a one-year contract to supply bulk anhydrous sodium formate, a solid deicing chemical. All small-business-reserve and non-small-business vendors may submit bids, but the procurement includes a small business preference under COMAR 21.11.01.05. A responsible small business may be selected when its responsive bid does not exceed the lowest responsive bid from a responsible non-small-business bidder by more than the applicable preference percentage: 5% generally, 7% for a veteran-owned small business, or 8% for a disabled-veteran-owned small business. Bidders must submit the entire 29-page IFB with all applicable sections completed and the unaltered Bid Sheet in Excel format; a PDF version of the bid sheet may be submitted in addition to the Excel file.
