The U.S. Navy requires manufacture of CABLE ASSY LAUNCHER units in accordance with drawing 7454380, revision B, and related technical requirements. The product is a submarine outboard cable assembly requiring manufacture by a PRO-020-certified vendor under NAVSEA S9320-AM-PRO-020/MLDG, with required marking, serialization, mercury-free materials, packaging, and quality-system controls. The contractor must perform first-article testing and approval, hydrostatic testing, cable-jacket adhesion testing when bonding polyurethane to arctic neoprene, and 100% production-lot quality-conformance testing. Required deliverables include approved test plans, test and inspection reports, material certifications, certificates of compliance, and test results accompanying delivered assemblies. Only previously approved sources were solicited, and contractors must be PRO-020 approved to bid.
