Description
Cobb County seeks a qualified engineering consultant for the design of a new shared-use pedestrian and bicycle bridge adjacent to an existing roadway bridge over I-20. The project extends along Factory Shoals Road between the Hartman Road area and Riverside Parkway and includes a 12-foot shared-use path with barriers. The selected consultant will provide concept development, public involvement, surveys and database preparation, environmental documentation and special studies, preliminary and final roadway and bridge plans, right-of-way plans, geotechnical services, utility and drainage coordination, cost estimates, and construction-phase support. The prime consultant and team must meet specified Georgia Department of Transportation prequalification requirements. The procurement is phased: the initial response is a Statement of Qualifications, with shortlisted firms later invited to submit a technical approach.
