Description
Fox Valley Technical College seeks a single-prime contractor to repair the exterior envelope of Buildings E and F. The base work includes removing and replacing window perimeter sealants and wet-sealing window glazing joints; repairing masonry joints and damaged brick; cleaning and coating designated masonry and concrete surfaces; and removing corrosion, priming, and repainting exposed steel components. Work also includes replacing weather trim at overhead door openings and related protection, coordination, and cleanup. An alternate covers removal of the existing wall at Door 8 and construction of a cast-in-place concrete wall, including associated handrail refurbishment and reinstallation. The bid requires a lump-sum base price and pricing for the alternate. A five-percent bid security is required; performance and payment bonds are required from the successful contractor after award. The project schedule states work may commence on or after April 6, 2027, with substantial completion by June 23, 2027 and final completion by June 30, 2027.
