Description
The Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority is requesting pricing and lead times for a replacement transformer serving its member city of Watonga, Oklahoma. The requested equipment is a new or remanufactured three-phase, pad-mounted, K-rated liquid-filled transformer with a minimum nominal rating of 1,000 kVA, 60 Hz design, at least a 95 kV primary BIL rating, and a minimum K-factor rating of 13. Quotes for copper and aluminum windings should be provided when available. The transformer must include specified high- and low-voltage configurations, mineral oil with less than 2 ppm detectable PCB content, gauges, valves, surge arrestors, load-break elbow accommodations, low-side lugs, and other listed accessories. Vendors must provide lead time, service details, schedules, applicable terms or assumptions, electrical test results, impedance, loss values, efficiency, and guaranteed losses. A minimum three-year warranty is required, and units matching the preferred dimensional, rotation, and polarity characteristics should be identified. Submissions must include Exhibit A and, if applicable, a signed acknowledgment of exceptions.
