Description
Dubuque County seeks a firm, fixed-price proposal to furnish and install a new cab package, recessed car operating station, specified fixtures, roller guides, and a complete sling and platform assembly for its north hydraulic passenger elevator. The work includes field verification, shop drawings, fabrication, delivery, removal and lawful disposal of replaced components, installation, adjustment, testing, and inspection coordination. The new recessed operating station is required in both the base bid and the reuse alternate; the existing hydraulic power unit, controls, and other identified equipment are to be retained and integrated with the new work. The project updates selected remaining elevator components and recesses the car controls to reduce contact and accidental activation by kitchen carts.
