Description
The City seeks on-call snow and ice removal services for city-owned properties during the 2026-2027 winter season. Work includes plowing parking lots, access roads, drive lanes, and designated paved areas; clearing sidewalks, walkways, curb ramps, entrances, steps, and pedestrian crossings; and applying ice-control measures as needed. The contractor must provide labor, supervision, equipment, materials, fuel, transportation, and communication devices, and maintain personnel and equipment for prompt service, including during nights, weekends, holidays, and ongoing snowfall events. The bid invitation lists individual properties and requests per-property pricing. Snow removal generally begins at a two-inch accumulation threshold for paved areas and one inch for sidewalks, subject to direction in the solicitation. The successful bidder must provide a certificate of liability insurance, an equipment list, a completed bidder certification form, a completed DOL Bidder Status Form, and a W-9. The contract form describes month-to-month continuation, termination on 30 days' written notice, and a possible extension of up to one year.
