The U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service is seeking 54 NPP FT12-200Ah telecom batteries on a brand-name-or-equal basis. All items must be new, meet the original parts' form, fit, and function requirements, and be delivered within 60 days after receipt of order. The government intends to make one firm-fixed-price award, and quotations must include pricing for all items. Products must have clear, auditable traceability to the original equipment manufacturer or an authorized distributor. The contractor must provide a Certificate of Conformance and supporting manufacturer traceability documentation. Offerors proposing equal products must provide descriptive literature, drawings, or a readily available technical reference demonstrating compliance with the salient characteristics. The solicitation also requires a supply-chain risk management plan with the proposal and includes Section 508 accessibility materials for each commercially available ICT item offered, although the requested batteries are primarily a supply purchase.
