Description
General Supply and Services (GSS) is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for two V-22 Cargo Rail Systems, part number 31926-01, or equal. The system must be designed for cargo handling and pallet movement operations on aircraft without requiring modifications. Key requirements include an approximate length of 19 feet, tool-less deployment and stowage, rollers on approximately 4-inch centers with anti-friction bearings, and a load capacity of at least 5,000 pounds distributed over 88 inches or 2,500 pounds distributed over 40 inches. The system must also include adjustable, sectionalized pallet guides on both sides, capable of accommodating overall widths from 40 to 54 inches. Construction must utilize corrosion-resistant, aircraft-quality materials suitable for military operational environments, emphasizing operator safety, ease of installation, durability, and long service life. Awarded vendors must be registered or willing to register with the EDI/Vendor Portal prior to award. Completed and signed RFQ documents and MIL-STD 129R must be returned by the closing date.
